Juicing Guide

A starting guide with juicing

What You Need to Understand

Juicing lacks fiber, but is it still healthy?2023-01-09T09:31:33+00:00

Fiber helps food move through the digestive tract even though it is not digested.

There are two types of fiber: soluble and insoluble. Your juice does, however, contain a sizable amount of soluble fiber. Your juice would still be very beneficial to you even if it had no fiber at all.

How can I start juicing the simplest way possible?2023-01-09T09:32:18+00:00

Any of our juice recipes can be followed.

All of the new recipes we’ve added to our website are simple, but they still give you the option to push yourself to take up juicing as a new, healthier routine.

You can check our ingredients page to see what juice you can make and the nutrients it contains, regardless of whether you buy a strange vegetable from the market.

What sets soluble fiber apart from insoluble fiber?2023-01-09T09:34:14+00:00

Insoluble fiber is present in the pulp that is left over after juicing.

Only a small portion of this enters your juice. If you mixed insoluble fiber with water, it would sink to the bottom of the glass, absorb the liquid, and then expand. If you picture that moving through your body, you can visualize what it does for you. It eases constipation and aids in getting things “moving.”

Personally, we adore the consistency and fantastic flavors that juice allows us to create. Although we can juice strange things like sweet potatoes and produce a delectable beverage that tastes like dessert, we occasionally feel as though our smoothies’ flavor options are somewhat constrained.

Juice and smoothies alike, then?2023-01-09T09:35:21+00:00

No, they are not at all the same. One isn’t necessarily better than the other because both of them are quite healthy for you.

A smoothie is made in a blender.

Blended, not juiced. The pulp, an insoluble fiber, is kept when making smoothies. This might be unpleasant or advantageous, depending on what you’re combining. Blended drinks produce a lot more due to the pulp, which some people prefer while others find it difficult to finish the entire amount.

A juicer is used to make juice. Your produce is “juiced” by juicers, which also remove the pulp (the insoluble fiber) from it. The juice is consumed, while the pulp is discarded. Soluble fiber is still a source of fiber for you. I know, it sounds insane. You just acquired new knowledge today.

You can still juice even if all you have is a blender! Using cheesecloth or similar material, you can strain the blended beverage to extract the juice. Although it requires a little more labor and won’t produce as much as a decent juicer, it’s still something.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a mobile application?2023-01-09T09:15:50+00:00

Response: Not yet at the moment.

It’s difficult to incorporate all of our website’s features into an app, but we’re working on it. Instead of simply cashing in on our name, we want to create something amazing and unique.

But for the time being, we’ve ensured that our website works perfectly on mobile devices.

Should I completely discard the pulp?2023-01-09T09:19:29+00:00

Response: We like to, but it varies from person to person.

Except for those times when we feel like pulp, we personally prefer to strain our juice using a mesh strainer and a big bowl. Simply put, we favor smoothness.

Here are some tips we’ve learned:

  • Oranges to peel (the peel has oil in it that tastes really bitter and gross). This mistake, though common, is still eatable.
  • Peeling is not necessary for lemons and limes. The peel’s flavor is interesting. You have the power!
  • We believe that mangoes should be peeled since the skin is not edible. They should be deseeded because they have a big seed that will damage your juicer.
Should I strain my juice to completely remove the pulp?2023-01-09T09:20:33+00:00

Response: We like to, but it varies from person to person.

Can I add the pulp back into my juice?2023-01-09T09:22:32+00:00

Response: Yes…

You could, but that would seem to be making a smoothie the hard way.

I can make juice in my blender, right?2023-01-09T09:25:44+00:00

Response: Sort of.

Our recipes are created with juicers in mind as opposed to blenders. To make juice, you can use cheesecloth and similar materials, but it takes work.

But sugar, that must be awful, right?2023-01-09T09:26:49+00:00

Response: Natural and refined sugars have different properties.

A gram of unrefined sugar from coke is far inferior to a gram of natural sugar. These two are very different from one another.

The nutrition labels in the USA are changing to mention “Added Sugars” (mostly refined sugar) instead of lumping it all together as “Sugars” because the USDA recognizes that this is a problem and common misconception.

Juice contains a lot of calories, right?2023-01-09T09:28:12+00:00

Response: They provide wholesome calories.

You shouldn’t be concerned about getting fat off juice because you saw on the back of the bag that juice has about the same number of calories as potato chips.

Juice calories are not the same as potato chip calories.

You’re not in the right mindset to be healthy if you’re worried about juice calories. These calories are very healthy.

More thought should go into the amazing nutrients that might also be present in your glass. Despite having a high caloric content, no one ever asserts that eating avocados will result in weight gain.

Can I substitute juice for a meal?2023-01-09T09:29:03+00:00

Response: Unless there is a lot of juice, the answer is no (32oz).

(Those who are on a juice cleanse are exempt from this)We notice that far too many people substitute one glass of juice for several meals and complain of “feeling light-headed for some reason.” Eating properly is the key to staying healthy and decreasing weight, not cutting back on calories.

Is “juicing” simply drinking juice without consuming any other foods?2023-01-09T09:29:47+00:00

Response: No

You only need to drink one glass of juice per day to see the benefits. Juicing is used as a meal replacement during a juice cleanser, also referred to as a “juice fast” or “reboot.” For a beginner, it’s a little intense.

Juice can be stored, but how?2023-01-09T09:30:37+00:00

Response: Yes

Nutrient loss does occur over time, but it does so very gradually. In this case, we’re talking about minute increments.

There is also enzyme stability. Enzymes catalyze all of the reactions in our bodies. However, the story is the same as it is with nutrition. Since the enzymes are gradually lost over time, it is safe to say that by 72 hours, only a small percentage of the enzymes in your juice have been lost.
